If you or the parents think that the child may be dyslexic or have difficulties learning it is important to act fast, with the parents permission. There is a window of opportunity between the ages of about 4-7 years when children pick up their skills most easily and quickly. 4 1\2 years is a good time for the child to be evaluated. The evaluation needs to be completed within a reasonable time after the parent gives consent.
