 I have worked as a T.A for the past 10 years, and according to my contract I am paid "Term time Only" In reality I receive a pay cheque every month as my salary is divided into 12 equal payments. As far as I am aware this is the norm for state schools. I'm not sure if the same happens in private schools. Hope this helps!
