Hi, i too am a learning support asst, in a secondary school, we have a large team of support and often work with several different children from yr 6 to 11, we all work differently, some will copy all work, some stand back, observe then see what help you can give the child, i think the key is get to know the child, then you will know what is best but in my opinion it is never to copy all there work for them. It sounds like you do very much like i would, and are doing a great job.
