 Back in the 60's in football coach would sometimes paddle a guy's bare butt in the locker room--usually for some form of disrespect --and the guy who got his bare butt paddled had to stand there for a short time while otehr guys showered and dressed--showing his red sore butt---It did not last long but it seemed long if it was your red sore butt on display!
