Subject: Dennis does it again

Dennis Books, in an early May auction at Sotheby's, added the Madonna Duck portrait to his collection of Donald Duck great moments in art. As you may recall, in the late 1930s and early 1940s, Disney artists superimposed Donald into famous art poses. A total of 17 artworks were created. They were featured in "The Reluctant Dragon," a film about the creative process of animation released in 1941. Dennis now owns eight of the 17 artworks.
