"Think?" she spoke aloud to the door shut before her, and she shuddered. She knew she loved him, and she had thought he felt the same and yet....he was shutting her out? Suddenly it seemed as if the world had grown colder, despite the light drifting down the halls from the distant windows and lit torches dotting the walls. She stood at his door for sometime, simply staring. Before she could stop them, two tears slid down her cheeks, though she quickly brushed them away. Urgent footsteps reached her ears and suddenly she was plowed into the floor by whomever had been running down the halls. A sharp yelp errupting from her as she was flung into the stone floors.

Her "attacker" was actually the Lady Aiyana, LairLeader and Head of the Dragonriders. The two of them struggled for a moment before helping each other up, Aiyana beginning to speak at a rapid pace, "Where might I find rider M'kar? Its extremely urgent that he and his grown dragon make to the courtyard immediately."

Tilana shook her head, "He's in his chambers. Why...whats going on?"

"A large band of Ghazard have passed over the border, led by a cloaked woman. Her warning was something of revenge or the like."

"Mortelia..." she whispered before turning to pound on M'kar's door. "M'kar! Get out here!"
