The older lad, his dark locks cut short but long enough to tickle just above his brow, nodded to the lairsters. He looked to be about 19, a prime age for a rider and the near maximum age for a candidate [which is 21]. With a shy smile he nodded to his companion after introducing himself, "I'm Siten, and this is my younger brother, Riften."

Riften's gaze didn't raise from the ground, his dirty blonde curly locks covering his eyes which remained trained on his feet. Hesitantly, Siten continued without assistance, "We were coming to register as Candidates...but I'm afraid we aren't from around here."
