"It's over now," he said soothingly, then mixed emotions played across his face as he caught sight of his dragon.
"Drem?" he asked aloud, launching nimbly to his booted feet as he covered the distance to the mouth of the cave in a few strides. Throwing his arms around the white muzzle, he was unashamed of the stray tear that leaked from his green eyes. When it came to his dragon, nothing mattered. "Oh, Dremalithas, I thought I'd never see you again..."
At that, Keira was a bit puzzled. Dremalithas had been right outside the entire time... a bit transparent, but nevertheless there. What she didn't know was that ghosts couldn't see eachother, even when it concerned dragon and rider.
