The areas in which South Asia are strong in include Seats in parliament held by women and the countries Public Education Expenditure. A few areas where the countries of South Asia have big differences are that Pakistan has twice as many Seats in parliament held by women and Pop. using adequate sanitation than the others yet it has half the amount of Public Education Expenditure. One more huge difference is that India has Twice the GDP as any other country in South Asia. An overall assessment of how South Asia appears to be doing in these areas of development would be that they arn't at the bottom of the chain, but still have a large area for improvement. When Comparing the Middle East to South Asia on Seats in parliament held by women, South Asia way surpasses the Middle East with most countries having over twice the amount. When it comes to Life Expectancy The Middle East has an average of about 10 more years to a persons life with an age at about 70, when South Asia is about 60.
