ANSWER: HDI Ranking is higher than USA; Life Expectancy is much higher in Israel than USA; Public Education is much higher in Iran than USA; Population Under 15 is much higher in Egypt than in USA; and Seats in Parliament is much higher in Israel than in USA.
>2. Excluding the US, are there any glaring
>desparities (big differences) between countries of the
>Middle East?
ANSWER: The difference between Israel's GDP and Egypt's GDP is quite large; the difference between Israel's HDI and Egypt's HDI is even larger; the public education of Iran far surpasses that of Egypt, Libya, and Turkey; Egypt's population using sanitation is extremely lower than all the other countries, and same with the adult literacy rate; there is a vast difference of Seats in Parliament held by women between Israel (very high) and the rest of the Middle East (extremely low).
>3. Why so low a percentage of Women in Parliment?
ANSWER: Because in those countries, women have very few votes, let alone are allowed to have a high opinionated power.
>4. In terms of development (how human existence is
>doing)is the Middle East strong, adequate or weak?
>Explain and justify.
ANSWER: I'd say adequate because while the public education is extremely low in all countries except Iran, the develoment is justified by the Life Expextancy Rate, the Population Using Adequate Sanitation, and the Adult Literacy Rate in most countries of the Middle East.
