On January 26, 2004, an eight year-old boy died of bird flu. This was the first thai to die from this disease.

On January 28, 2004, Recent viloence and threats against teachers and students have lead to over 1,000 schools close in south Thailand.

Over one million troops have been sent out to kill the birds. They killthem by putting several into bags and burrying them alive. 1/16/04

-2 thai policemen were killed by bombs at a local mall.
-more than 50,000 people have applied for povery aid.
-Thailand is having a war on drugs and is accusing many innocent victoms.
