It's been forever since I've visited here (way too long as I see I've missed a lot...LOL), but better late than never I suppose.

I haven't written as much poetry as I was at one time, but have had a full inspiration plate of fan fiction and story writing.

Here are a couple I wrote about a year ago... maybe a little more. It was a pretty confusing time for me, which you can probably tell.
It's nice to see everyone, btw. :) Hopefully I can stop by more often.

"Forever"

What is forever?
Is it real?
Is it true?
Or is it merely smoke and mirrors?
An illusion created for romantic fools?

And what does forver mean, anyway?
What purposedoes it serve?
Our time already is so short,
The concept is absurd.

The older I get, the more I'm sure
There is no such thing as forever
the more I feel we should be free to love
Apart, or together
But not Forever.

To Be or Not To Be

When things changed I cannot say
Don't know the minute, hour or day

But change they have,
And I'm not so sure
We're "meant to be together" anymore

It's not just one thing or another
No one detail that stands out from the other

More a combination of many years
Many fights, many tears...

Have worn away the certainty
That you and I were "meant to be".

We've shared so much
It's hard to say
It hurts to think things turned out this way

What I'll do, I do not know
But I keep feeling I must go

To save myself, to find myself
There really isn't much left
To say
Except
