When I fly with you
My world is so right
You take me places
I never dreamed I might
Thrilling me to new heights
With all that you are~
So real and true...
When I fly with you

Never lonely
Never afraid to be out on a limb
Desiring only to consummate our every whim
Live for today
Worry not about tomorrow
For beyond the present,
We'll only find sorrow

And so,
When I fly with you,
Hold me close
But still afar
Lest I may see more in your eyes
Than you're willing to reveal
'Tis but a shame...
A heart so real
Not permitted to ~feel~
Yet, I painfully know with all of my being
That if we are to continue to fly,
We must take care to ensure
That our Promethian wings don't catch flame
Fervent hearts burning white-hot...
Sending us crashing and burning to
The Ground of Reality...
Never to fly again.
