I wonder if you know what a treasure you are and if you don't, I'm making it official here! *stamps your forehead* :) Your thoughts melted me so much I thought I was going to have to camp out in the freezer to try to save the candy shell...you're such a dear heart! In a time when local shows and such haven't been working out and faith in where I'm going can be shaky, you are always there with encouragement that keeps me hoping and smile-inducing thoughts and 'funnies' to keep me smiling! :) It's one of those things where the words I've got don't really measure up to the affect your sentiments had on me cause this post and your opinion is golden in Candyland/Phantasia :).

I'm in the same boat with you in terms of brightness and color...I have a tendency to gravitate towards 'tonal'...I love printmaking in sticking with dark, lights, and all the shades in between of one color, especially black or something really dark...and in the past I've gone with paintings centered on one color and close variations, but my eye has been catching things that are really bright lately and thinking "hey, that's neat". One of my favorite things about OLTL these days is RJ's art :). Back when they gave him an apartment (sigh) I loved the things on that set, and now I catch a painting here and there in his bar that I love...I'm not sure who's taste it is that picks those things out for his sets but I love them :). They are very bright, and kind of based in solid shapes and such...interesting and making me curious about that kind of 'style' and bold color.

Right now I'm working on an experiment of bolder color...it's kind of my 'stress reliever'piece that I just work on here and there...Sue's commentary is this: "It makes me nauseous" She turns it around to face the wall when she walks into the room and its 'looking at her.'

*Deb takes a bow for eliciting such response* *vbg*

LOLOL at the commentary on your cat! I guess everyone's a critic (and even Van Gogh...Mom insists on saying that like 'Van Gaaauuucccchhhhh'...has to face them, even the feline ones ;))

I'd love to try my hand at something for Young Tf if you'd like, anytime!

ML...*sniff* I miss her in Candyland! *sending out vibes that all is going okay for her* Your thoughts here reminded me of how you once said that she reminded you of Al Pacino when he gave his "You're out of order" speech...whenever I see that I always remember that and smile :).

Anyway, thank you!!! You all made my Sunday! :)
