Ok...so this is pretty random, but I was listening to some mix of online radio garbage and what should appear but Banditos by The Refreshments. I forgot that song even existed. There are just far too few Jean Luc Picard references in music these days. :)

I did get a chance to listen to some fairly new Fiona Apple...which was odd. It seemed somehow out of place, with all the junk that is put out on a far too frequent basis now-a-days, but I suppose current freshly in college students need "whiny" college music of their very own to listen to.

I downloaded it from iTunes mostly out of nostalgia, so I'm sure that's where a lot of the sales will be. I think they should have released it much much sooner though. I'm not seeing a lot of profit potential as late as they waited b/c of the whole Backstreet, Britney, (insert crappo other bands here), junk that was OH SO popular and they thought it was "too soon", not popular in the current market, blah blah blah...dumb record execs.

FURTHER side note...I am amused at present with the Dresden Dolls. Interesting stuff.
