It was George Bush's promise of a stable
government, that inspired non-Saddam-loyalists to hail the American
war on Saddam's regime. However, even months after Saddam Hussein's
downfall, Iraq continues to reel under a labyrinthine Political -
imbroglio, courtesy a strong lobby for political power of the
war-torn country. Now that Bush is in a poll-mood, he has lost all
his concern for Iraqi affairs. If only the Iraqis knew that their
country would be prone to such an 'oraphaned-state' in the post-war
era, they would have preferred to be ruled by a tyrant Saddam. Is
George Bush listening?

It is gratifying to note that CM S.M.Krishna has resolved to issue an order for the demolition of places of worship, that have surfaced out illegally accross Karnataka. This decision should be whole-heartedly welcomed. But, will it be implemented with the same seriousness is the question. Hope during the election period this will not set stage for the Congress Government to woo the minority communities by isidiously protecting their holy places and demolishing only Hindu temples. The same should be applicable to graveyards and Goris, that are growing rampantly. In Bangalore city, one can see Goris beside High-ways. Large green - pastures, that support life by feeding cattle have become burial grounds. If clutches are not applied on this unhealthy growth, Bangalore City, which now is called 'Garden-City' will soon become 'Grave-city' full of necropolises.
Otherwise, the decision is a brave act on part of S.M.Krishna and other states should also arrive at such a decision.
