Mad Cow desease runs rampant in Oregon!

Well, actually, there are 2 cows 30 miles from the Oregon
border (in Idaho) that have lesions on their mouths. It is being watched.

Some stock is slightly up so maybe our paper wealth can still be used for something more than wall pager. (I was going to say something else, but that would be gross)

The weatherman says it is rainy and cloudy in Oregon, but if he pokes his head out the window, he'll see that its a beautiful, sunny day.

The Chinese Garden in downtown Portland is reputedly the best in the U.S. It would make a good day trip for people in the area with a day off---so I might get there sometime today.

My daughter just sent some photos of her place in Arizona.
The desert is in full bloom and spectacular, the veiw from her backyard amazing. It is very tempting to think of retiring down there....oh that's right, I might not ever be able to retire.

No news is good news, and from my computer desk--nothing is going on---so, I'm out the door to enjoy the day.
