Market Contes/Money and Greed

The contest is a go. Basically it involves picking from 1 to 4 stocks that you think will rise the most in the coming 3 months. You can weight them as in 50% Intel, 25% Sun, 25% Nike, or give them equal weight. You need to send your picks to Karen (GRAMAKarenL@aol.com) or Larry (DRDRLOWE@aol.com) by 15 April. We will keep track of returns and report them every couple of weeks. Be nice if you would tell us why these are your picks but that is not necessary. We will allocate a hypothetical $10,000 among them or equally weight them as you wish.

The rules are:
1.) Pick up to 4 stocks, 2) weight them if you like, 3) send them to either Karen or Larry by 15 April.

You are free to use any source you like in selection: analysts, brokers, friends, family, library, ValuLine, your choice. Any source at all.

Prizes will be award based on returns to selection with first prize being a Dinner for 2 at McMinnvilles finest, second being a bottle of excellent wine from a valley winery, and third prize being a package of Oregon fruits and nuts. Nice hey?

So pick and send your choices. Remember, any sources are appropriate. One entry per classmate. Other than that, no particular rules.
