As the emerge from the maze, he halts and turns to face her. "Be right back." Dissapearing into the bushes surrounding the courtyard, he returns a short while later, concealing something behind his back. Coming alongside her, he pulls his hand from behind his back in a sweeping motion, handing her a crimson red rose. "A lovely flower for an even more lovely lady."
Turning slightly, he sends out a low whistle...his sleek ebony steed soon appearing from seemingly no where. Turning back to Afton, he gives a warm smile. "There is something that I must attend to... I shall return in a short while." Catching hold the reins, he swings up into the saddle and turns the steed towards a trail leading through the woods. Putting on a serious expression, he smartly salutes Afton before urging his mount into a swift canter and dissapearing into the forest.
