Subject: The mare gazes down at the filly with large, dark mahogany eyes. Then giving a soft nicker, she stretches out her neck to nudge her gently. ~~ Smiling, she pats the filly back, then her mares shoulder. "Come now little one. Lets get you cleaned up." Finding a stiff brush and curry comb, she carefully begins grooming the filly, working out the dirt from her coat. Subject Author Date *The filly stands still for the cleaning treatment, feeling that is is quite a nuisance (SP?), but having never had one before, her coat feels quite wonderful. She nickers at the mare, and bobs her playful head, then shakes her mane lightly* (NT) On Angel's Wings 18:37:55 03/12/01 Mon After she gets all the dirt and mud off the fillies coat, the moves onto her hooves. Checking them quickly, she cleans the stones and dirt out of then. Then replacing the brush and curry, she finds a horse comb and begins running it through Angel's mane. Bobbing her head, she nickers back to Angel, ebony mane rippling on her glossy bay neck. ~~ Laura smiles and shakes her head lightly. "You crazy mare. You never fail to amuse me. No I take that back. Sometimes the things you do are not at all amusing. Like when you take off with my clothes when I go swimming!" Rolling her eyes she flashes a mock glare at the mare then returns her attention to Angel.~~The mare stops tossing her head and sends her owner an innocent look. (NT) -- Laura, 19:00:33 03/12/01 Mon *If the filly could laugh, she would be in hysterics, but since she cannot she bobs her head, and whinnies a few times, watching the mare, thinking the friendly mare might have done that to impress her, so she decided to be cute too, and puff out her chest, holding her breath. She does this for a short while, then the air explodes out, and the filly bobs her head, comicly* (NT) -- Angel, 19:07:05 03/12/01 Mon The mare nickers again, and bobs her head. Then extending her velvetine dial towards the filly, she snorts softly and gives a shrill whinney for no reason at all.~~Looking up, she shakes a finger at the mare. "Sush! It is getting late and no one wants to listen to you screaming." Frowning lightly, she finishes with Angels tail and opens the door to a stall next to her mares. "In you go girl!" (NT) -- Laura, 19:19:35 03/12/01 Mon *The filly hops into the stall, nickering softly, she kicks up her heels, and plays in the bedding for a few mintutes, before sliding down onto the floor and drifting off to sleep* (NT) -- Angel, 19:27:26 03/12/01 Mon She smiles down at the filly, happy that she liked her new home. Whispering a soft 'goodnight' to her, Laura turns and walks over to her mares stall. Stroking her muzzle lightly, she whispers a few words in Italian to her, then exits the the stables.
