Working the old cantankerous pump, the maiden soon drenches the cloth in cool water. She slips back to Elizabeth, wringing the cloth slightly. "It is inevitable this will sting, but bear with me." She smiled, kneeling down and pressing the cool cloth to the wound firmly. She glances at Sir Bowdyn, "Might you take these rags and soak them in there?" She indicates to an open doorway. where a cauldren hangs by the fire, water already boiling.

She smiles, done with her work. She can appreciat humour, and shows it in her own sparkling green eyes. As she stands she meets his, nodding to Elizabeth. "I believe she is ready."
