The letter read:

Dear Darian,
I must let you know that I have left to go home, for my father is dying. He contacted me through a letter. I shall be there for only a short while, I hope, and plan to leave in a week, whether he is dead or not. (Really, OOCly it should be about 9:30 p.m. central time today ;-) ) So I bid you farewell for now, and thank you for all that you have done for me. YOu know not what it means to an outcast like me. See you in a week.
