§The blackened mare lazily soared through the open sky. It felt good to stretch her wings and take to the air. She dipped downward for a spell before climbing again. Aurora loosed a giddy whinny. As her orbs scanned the sky before her, she caught a glimpse of a rainbow out the corner of her eye. She turned her head in that direction to investigate. It hadn't rained in a while and that rainbow had come out of nowhere. It could only mean one thing, Rain was there. She loosed another happy cry and soared off in the direction of the rainbow.§

§The pegasi spotted her mate on the ground below and swooped down to meet him. She made a graceful landing, a huge smile upon her face. Hello my dear. She nuzzled his neck affectionately. Her eyes wandered though, searching for their foal. She had assumed he was with Rain.§
