The colt felt a burst of energy coming on. Heaven tore off across the field. With one mighty heave of his wings he took to the skies. Faster, faster.... it felt wonderful to have the wind whistle past his ears and through his locks. His ashen wings flickered with irradecence in the sunlight. A call was loosed. I am Heaven!§*

§Aurora watched her son run through the field then take to the skies. He was so enthusiastic about life. So was glad he was. A smile lighted her face. Don't go too far, dear and be back before dark. Yes, she was sure she could trust him to return to her. With that the mare turned tail and walked towards the stream for a drink.§
