The pair of fairly young foals wearily enter the land not knowing where it is they walk, whether it be pure or dark nor its inhabitants kind or evil. Neither of the two much cared anymore. They were about ready to give up on life. The pure white one sinks to the ground, horn of deepest, darkest black resting upon the earth. The winged black foal nudges the other trying to encourage it back onto its feet. The white angel cannot be 'suaded and remains upon the ground. The black brute lies down beside the one of white and stretches a white wing over its sibling. The brute keeps watch over its tired sibling while she rests, a watchful eye scanning the land around them for any possible danger.
