She gently pushes the mare, who strides off to eat grass. Thinking about what a mistake she had made by coming, she turns to head back to her mare. She changes her mind at the last moment, and glides over to a tree, leaning against it. Her pale blue skirts sway softly, and so does her long curly brown hair. Two sterling silver barrets hold Brandi's hair from her face. Carefully, she leans down and grabs a small flower, smelling it before slipping it into one of the barrets, the only thing of value the girl owns.
