Silently he watches the make-shift snare and the rabbit slowly aproaching it. Suddnely the rabbit's foot hits it and in one movement Jacob plunges the knife into the strugling thing. He steps back and lets the blood drain of the now limp body. Un-tying it he carries the rabbit by the tail back out to the clearing, dipping it and the dagger in the water. He sets to work skinning the animal.

Mary glances up from Aneli and makes a slight face "Whats that?" She asks, dreading the answer she knew would come.

He looks up with a teasing smile "Dinner..." He replies simply "Get a fire going, this meat won't stay good for long" Attention returns to his work.

Face contorts a bit more but she obeys, answering Aneli's question as she works "Its alright...Though he's so silent I can rarely get a word out of him around others, he must be in a good mood, he spoke an entire sentence in your precense" She laughs lightly ignoring the part about having a family for her parents had died long ago and she hated the memory dearly.
