Hi, everyone. I want to start out by saying that I'm not writing this to insult anybody, or down anybody. I don't know anyone on this sight. The only one I've heard really nice things about is someone named Gina which I guess is the owner of this sight. I'm a childhood friend of Shane O'Brien. Were still really good friends to this day. We grew up two blocks from each other. I now live in Cobourg, Ontario. Shane and I were recently talking about the ducks move to Portland. Thats how I came across this sight. I couldn't believe some of the things that were said about Shane. It's really sad that once you become a professinal hockey player all the crap you have to deal with. Some one on this sight wrote about how she slept with Shane in Ottawa one night, someone else wrote he has an STD. Anybody that believes any of that stuff is crazy!! I'm not saying hes innocent by any means. Hes definatly had his share of woman these past couple of years. He likes to party and have a good time thats it! He's only 21 years old. He's not ready to settle down with anyone as of right now. Shane and I have also had a relationship but we decided were better as friends. I'm the ex that someone referred to that still calls. If he had all these diseases that everyone says he has I would be in some trouble. I just wanted you guys to know the honest truth. He is really a great guy and doesn't deserve that slander from anyone.. Thanks for listening to me vent..
