The Gospel By Paul

Heb 1:8
“If any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that
which you received, let him be accused”


Paul writing to the Galatians under great stress after getting word that the Jewish Christians who were circulating among them and teaching them that they must be circumcised, delt with the false teaching squarely.

If any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that which you have received let him be accused. The Gospel which I have taught you revolves around the truth that Christ our Lord was crucified for the sins of man (1 Cor 1:23 ) and through Him we have been redeemed from the curse of the Law ( Gal: 3: 10- 13 ).

Galatians 3:11
“ We never can be justified by the keeping of the Law, for it is written, ‘The righteous shall live by Faith”


Many come in the name of Jesus, but not all preach the Gospel which was taught by the Apostle Paul. Paul said,“ I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.” (Ro 1:16 ), For it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.”(Ro 1:16 ).

Many do come in the name of Christ preaching a different gospel than Paul taught,but the Bible says_____” We are to preach the Word.” ( 2 Tim 4:2 ) The truth is, When you leave Christ out, you have nothing left of the Gospel. You have
lost the power by which God saves. Preaching the true Gospel is what brings about Salvation, righteousness that reveals the faith by which we appropiate it.

Again, Paul himself said________” The Gospel is the power of God unto Salvation.” If we want people to get saved, then, we must obey Christ and teach the Gospel which saves. ( Mark 16: 15; Matt. 28:18-20 ; John 3:16-20 )

The Word of God says_______” For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” ( Ro 10:13 ) Paul continues to say in_______ ( Ro 10:13-17 )

1. How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believe?
2. And how shall they believe in whom they have not heard?
3. And how shall they hear without a preacher?
4. And how shall they preach unless they are sent?

Just as it is written.“ And how shall they hear without a preacher{witness}?”

The answer is, They cannot hear the good news of salvation without a witness.Paul said_______ “ The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” (Ro 1:16 ) Now, There are those who want to split the hairs of theology and bicker over the difference between what Calvin and Jacob Arminiaus wrote. I tell you , makes no difference to me what either of these men wrote, but all the difference
if I obey what God wrote and preach it as Paul said we are to do.

The lost cannot be saved without a witness, they have a witness to hear, they must hear to believe, they must believe to call, and they must call to be saved.

But they cannot call upon the name of the Lord until they believe and they cannot believe until they hear and
they cannot hear without a witness.

Romans 10:17
“ So, (saving faith) come from hearing the Gospel “

We are notborn with saving faith, “ It is by the grace of God we have been saved through faith; and not of yourself, it is a gift of God ( Eph 2:8-9 )

Then, what should we be treaching and witnessing to the man who has not been regenerated by the grace of God______ according to Paul,“ We should be preaching Christ was crucified for the sins of man and it is through Christ we have been redeemed from the curse of the Law and man must believe or be condemned in his unrighteousness.
(1 Cor 1:23; Gal 3:10-13 )

But how does man who is dead in sin come to be able to have saving faith, I believe it is_____ by the grace of God you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God, not because of works, lest any man should boast. ( Eph 2:8-9 ) RSV

Job cried out______ “ How shall a man be just with God; and , if mand dies, shall he live again? ( Job 9: 12; 14:4 ) Paul bases his doctrine of the Book of Romans just in
seven little words answering the question ask by Job.

Paul takes seven words from the prophet Habakkuk and answers the how man must live and be just before God________” The just shall live by faith.” ( Hab 2:4 )


And the only way man can be justified is________they are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as an expiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins;(Ro 3:24-25 )RSV
