Boredom and apathy had sunk their claws deep into the moon-washed damsel. Her home, the unparalleled beauty Wildflower Canyon, had sunk into a disturbing silence. Her beloved father had vanished without so much as a word, as had her estranged younger sister. Her depression over the loss of her mate had threatened to drown her, swallowed entirely by the murky depths of despair. But her fighting spirit had emerged, a precious legacy bequeathed to her by her parents. It would shame her mother's memory and add insult to her father's unconditional love if she had succumbed to the tempting oblivion. Therefore, Misa had emerged into the sunlit world again, perhaps a bit more wary, perhaps a bit more cynical, but alive and mobile once again.

As sunlight played over her faintly dappled gray hide, warming the blood that ran beneath, sharply attuned eyes searched the landscape of the Isle. From what she had gathered, her father had come here, seeking something not found at home. She also knew that Hex, WC's lead, had family here. Perhaps he had come north to visit. Giving a horsey shrug, Misa contented herself with enjoying the scenery and simply being alive. Maybe she would run into her father here, maybe she would make new acquaintances. Who knew? Fate was a notoriously capricious lady.

Pale vix caught in charcoal specks the sight of the ghostly femora. Stilts stirred her ivory bodice towards the opposite. Soft whicker cast lightly outwards, floating across the headlands. She approached dipping her crown a fraction towards the grey. Lovely smile creased her features, she sensed a spirit in this one. Vocals pressed her warm voice forward.

Welcome m'lady to Paradise Isle, I'm called Veiled Shadows. May I inquire yur calling?
