((I have a picture but I haven't gotten it uploaded yet, bare with meh lol))

The dusk was settling slowly on the beach, a mixture of seaspray and sand acting as a bitter mist over the nautical landscape. It was still cold, although spring was birthing upon the trees and shrubs; but as night fell on the ocean scape the water was bitter and unforgiving. The waves slid unnoticed up the sand in clear clumps, plastering frigidly against the unsuspecting legs of equines—who clawed at it with their hooves in retaliation, dragging themselves out of the bog and cold to the best of their effort. Apparition was having such turmoils on this night—he waded through the shallows slowly, the light feathering about his legs being a slight hindrance as it soaked up the frosty water and held it tight against him. The stinging sand of the dusk winds was a reminder to him to pick your buddy carefully—without a standing friend, you will be stuck with the piercing whip of the blustery weather or be left to the prowling night animals. For some, these conditions have no effect—they enjoy the arctic sea. But to Apparition, he wished to find comfort in some herd members—rapidly. It was too cold, too callous, to be alone another night on these entrancing shores.

His body was moving across the beach, dragging his legs through the boggy sand with his speckled head held high. His freckled exterior blended in portions against the sand, looking as if the stinging wind (which had been blinding him for many miles) had stuck in mottles all over his coat, clinging to him and dampening his coat in pallid spots. He was completely clueless about where he was—a sandy unkempt forelock was thrown over his eyes (one a brilliant azure, the other, mahogany) stopping to breathe in a heavy snort. Oh, was he tired! So many days had he traveled alone, knowing on particles of horrid sand shrubs, only able to drink out of seldom pools of water along the coast. It was a horrible feeling, to be thirsty, yearning for a drink, with water surrounding your body…and not a drop of it drinkable! He had left his old lands, and wanted anew—but he had not yet found a territory on this coast, though his hope remained. Seeing no one, he sauntered away from the shoreline to hide in the trees, attempting to escape the harsh sandy wind that beat unforgivingly against him. He hoped he could rest here…he saw no horses to object. His mottled frame bumped up against a tree in security, slackening a back leg, and let his eyelids begin to slide shut in despair and exhaustion.

Name: Apparition
NN: App, Art, he has a couple, whatever you’d like.
Age: 5 or 6
Breed: A heavy type, draft/appaloosa sportish cross.
Height: 16.3—modestly large.
Appearance: (see picture as well) Apparition was a handsome individual, gaining the flattering traits of both his mother and his father. Like his father (An Irish Draught type breed), he was tall and muscular, with light feathering encasing his big, sturdy hooves. His hindquarters and shoulders were thick muscle, and his crest was beautiful as he tucked his head to his chest and pranced beautifully, marching in a characteristically proud gait found in many working Drafts. From his mother, a “few spot” (A white appaloosa with black skin, having black points (aka around the eyes, muzzle, parts of the mane and tail, legs) all black, and a couple black spots across their coat—“Few Spots” will ALWAYS throw appaloosa coloring and pass this trait onto their children) appaloosa, he had gained her amazing coat genetics—a frosted blanket traipsed his hide, and his mane and tail were thin, as characteristic to breed, but silky. The only part of him that was undoubtedly white was a white blaze down the center of his face—which gave his mismatched eyes (blue and brown) a noble and kind appearance. He was built heavy but well, and he carried his behemoth form with seamless effort….and this grace despite his size was quite alluring.
Personality: Apparition is strict against his believes and extremely protective over those he loves, being quite mature for his young age. A proper gentleman, he always speaks with the utmost articulation—and although sensitive, is also a wonderful and tactful fighter, although he doesn’t brag about it nor start senseless fights. He has an amazing virtue of being able to keep his calm, but when made mad can use his sheer size to lash out in an intimidating fury….but other than that, a wonderful and kind gentlemen who respects hierarchy and holds decent morals.

Player’s Name: Hannah (Handella, Hanners, whatever lol)

Night had begun it's crawl to cover the headlands with it's dark blanket. The cold had driven some away from the water's edge, but Veiled had stepped towards it. Irish Draught frame was well-built and sturdy as was the breed. Both her mother and father being from equal breeding gave her full heritage to the line. Her ebon hued pools roamed over the landscape picking out small sights around the terrain. Thoughts swam through her head with sleep not coming to her just yet. Sculpted lobes suddenly twisted picking up the familiar sound of hoofbeats, but not a familiar scent. Paper thin nasals flared wide drawing in further scent of the unknown.

Making a quick decision sturdy limbs pushed her frame forward closer to the stag. Movements like the liquid water were effortless as the vix danced along. A tune sound was cast from parted jaws to the seemingly asleep brute. As her form drew nearer nail took purchase to the ground bringing her 16.2 silhouette to a stop. He seemed resting, though her worry of his condition pressed her forward once more. Until she was only steps away from the virile. Again her strutcture was halted, chiseled skull dipped, auds pricked forward watching him. If indeed he was asleep she would wait until he awoke to see if he was in any need of something she could help.

Having learned to live alone, he always slept precariously, one ear always twitching for danger. And although her approach was nonthreatning, it was dually startling--and immediately he flipped his eyes open and pinned his mottled ears to his splotchy neck, ready to spin around his powerful hindquarters and kick if need be. After a moment, however, he realized she was no threat, immediately lifting his ears and taking a cautious step foreward.

"Hullo--I apologize."

His voice was deep and assured, sounding both articulate and solemn.

"Is this a TT I am residing in?"

His voice was hopeful; dually, his gentlemanlike nature automatically recompised as he offered a slight bow on a freckled limb, kind, mismatched eyes watching evenly.

"Excuse my informality--I am Apparition. Whom might you be?"

His accent was thick and alluring, beconing a response...if she wished one at all.

Having somewhat expected a reaction from the stag, she wasn't to startled. Though had to stop her form from moving backwards in reponse to the flattened auds. Spires were twisted forward even more in interest of catching the voice. Pate was dipped a fraction when he finished with his name.

No trouble, and yes this is Paradise Isle. The Lead of the Lights terra. I am Veiled Shadow, or Veil.

Inky pools run over his somewhat tired apperance. Considering he was most likely a Light, his gentle voice and ooids almost confirmed that she was to offer him a home. Even though she wasn't Lead, she was sure whoever was wouldn't mind. Though the current 'Queen' wasn't ever around to decide anything anyway.

You seem tired m'lord if you'd like rest, perhaps I can show you around in the morn?

Concern had been betrayed in her soft voice as she looked over the virile. Not that there was much to show, but there was a fresh water stream further past the line of trees. Nor was there to many to introduce him to. But there were some, and the territory was pleasent.

Shaking his burly, freckled face, his eyes blinked open, whisking the way the haze with long eyelashes.

"No, no, I'm awake enough--more bored than tired."

He smiled weakly, his large hooves carrying him seamlessly out of the brush.

"I'd be honored for a tour, if you'd like to give me one."

((QUICKIE post lol))

Her smile widened at the 'more bored then tired' statement. It seemed a lot of equine were just bored lately. There was that silent calm, the one that came right before the hurricane hit. The Evils ,as they were once again called, had been quiet for far to long. She was worried as to when the next attack on the unprepared Lights would be. Freeing herself of such thoughts her attention remained on the stag.

Love to, there is a fresh water stream back behind the trees.

Feeling a bit parched, and thinking he might be she figured that'd be the best place to start. Picking an easy walk she began to thread through the trees to the open area she knew would await her. Spires were heavenward, one back to start a conversation with him.

If you don't mind the inquiry, where hav you come from?
