This is an update to my original posting.
I now have six postcards and some playbills pertaining to my grand uncle James Rice Cassidy’s theatre company. He and his wife Lilian, who was also a playwright, toured the length and breadth of the British Isles for over thirty years from the late 1890’s till Rice Cassidy’s death in 1927. He also toured with J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan for four years he was Smee. I have a whole website dedicated to this couple called J Rice Cassidy & Co. presents at http://homepage.eircom.net/~briby/index.htm
There is also to be a feature about this couple in the October issue of “Who do you think you are?” magazine.
