Subject: Hello to Don and others

"Hello" to our esteemed webmaster and to fellow "stagebeauty" regulars.

I was referred to this great site by my friend Rob Sedman whose site "lily-elsie.com" is also wonderful.

It's not necessary to say that I'm an Edwardian theatre buff but I should specify that I am most interested in the study of the costumes of the popular stars of that era, especially Lily Elsie, Gertie Millar, Gabrielle Ray, Zena and Phyllis Dare, etc.

As anyone who has seen my contributions to various wesites will know, I have made a particular study of the work of the couturiere "Lucile" (Lady Duff Gordon).

If a collector has programmes or advertisements crediting Lucile, or articles referencing this designer, which they might be interested in selling, I will be most interested so do feel free to contact me.

Also, if I can be of help to collectors on the subject of costuming or Edwardian fashion, perhaps in dating a particular card or image, I will be happy to do so.
