Subject: mademoiselle Sylvia

MY grandmother, (born 1872), Charlotte Cooper, performed under the name, "Mademoiselle Sylvia". She could stay under water for a lengthy time doing tricks. She was a friend of Krao Farini, the "apewoman". She was supposed to have been taken by Barnum to perform in the sideshow. Any information would be appreciated.
