I recently lost all of my right ovary and over half of the left ovary due to benign mucinous cystadenoma. The surgery took place two weeks after my wedding, and my husband and I do want to attempt pregnancy. The doctor I just went to for my checkup seems quite un-concerned about thre previous tumors and told us to proceed with attempting to conceive. I would just like to know if anyone out there has been in this situation -- and what was the outcome. I am concerned about the recurrance of the tumors and had been told by one doctor that this is the type of tumor that will return that that complete hysterectomy is a sure part of my future -- and the sooner the better. The new doctor does not agree with that opion at all. ???
