Hi Gillian,

I left you a long message yesterday at the gyn-gals.org website. Didn't realize you posted on the open forum. I'm going to go back, try and copy paste the message into this forum for you. I had VIN3 as well but had laser surgery to treat it. I've also used 5% Efudux cream (works like chemotherapy to eat away bad cell tissue & burns!!!). Mine has been recurrent. This is common with HPV virus until at some point, our own immune systems become strong enough to fight the virus off and send us into remission. Your fears are normal. We all fear the unknown. Many people know nothing about HPV until they are diagnosed with it themselves. If you join the support group on this website, you'll have access to "files" that are abundant with information that will be of interest to you. It's easy to join. That is where so many members check postings, daily. If you have any trouble, one of the moderators can help you through the sign in process. I'm sorry that you have been Diagnosed wtih VIN3; it's Not cancer.........remember that.........it's "in situ" or not invasive yet......good that it's been caught in this stage. Myra, one of the moderators, let us know you've posted in the open forum here instead of in the support group where we were introduced to you :-) You should be receiving more emails, but if not, I encourage you to join support. That's where you'll find back logs & archives of info. I'll check back here, in case you have problems signing onto support. Do not worry about asking a million questions! Ask away! That's what we're all here for! Here to help you though this health issue!

Hugs,

Taylor/GA/USA
