My name is Hannah. I am 55 years old. I am married with two grown children. I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer a little over a year ago. The cancer had spread to just about every organ in my abdoman. I started chemo three weeks after my surgery. At my 1 year checkup the blood test indicated I was cancer free. However, when my gyn did an exam he thought he felt something. A CT scan confirmed that I had a 2 inch tumor. He also thinks there is some evidence the cancer has spread to my liver. I started chemo again last month. My prognosis isn't good. However, I keep hearing and reading stories about women who have had stage 3 or stage 4 ovarian cancer who are alive and doing well. Since finding out my ovarian cancer has returned I have been on an emotional roller coaster. I am grateful for the support of my husband, kids, friends and pastor.
