I am so confused about the seriousness of VIN1.I was diagnosed with vestibulodynia 6 years ago after very painful sex, (now unable to have penetration for 2 1/2 years)but no treatments worked. Luckily my husband is very understanding. Gp referred me to St George's London who said I had HPV ( not genital warts he said) I had biopsies under spinal block. Just been told I have VIN1 (by secretary when I rang for results) but not due to see consultant until November for follow up. Everything I have read on Google seems to differ as to how it needs to be treated, if at all. Any experiences would be very helpful.
