Subject: Forgotten Epidemic - A piece of history is missing



In an alternate timeline, free of Aivas and still slave to the Red Star, Pern remains unchanged. Or, nearly so. Over the Turns some things have shifted, altering and separating the firelizards into two species and creating some new colors of dragon. Life is good, and as Benden rises once again to the threat of thread after the third Long Interval, nothing is amiss in the way the world should be. Weyrs are well supported, Hold and Hall both thriving under the protection of dragonflame. But then, a discovery- deep in the records, where few have bothered to look in lifetimes, there is a gap. Something has been systematically removed from every record in every library in every Hold, Hall, or Weyr on the face of Pern. No clue remains, nobody knows what once was told and is now hidden from memory. Find the lost knowledge, join the search- Epidemic.
