Parker shook his head firmly, "I don't want you to leave Peyton.. That's why I brought you here. I wanted you to share this with me. I wanted to.. I wanted to help you Peyton. Your different and you make me feel different," The last words were pronounced with drawl more noticible, being in such an uncomfortable situation he had just about as much control over the ocassional southern drawl as he did his mixed aray of word choice. As she walked, he turned his neck to watch after. Dare he follow? He realized he had no choice, not if he wanted to get things back to the way they were. His eyes focused soley on hers, the way they had been ever so much before, as he took a few careful steps foreward, hands burried within his pockets. "I don't want to lose you," he whispered softly, stretching out an arm to place a hand under Peyton's chin. He slowly tilted her head upward with a ginger touch, guiding her eyes to his. "In fact, I refuse to lose you," The statement was said with a certain amount of playfulness, but not even that could do much to deminish the seemingly akward moment.. but what could?
