Confess your sins and pray that the Lord would reveal to you your own heart-- that you may confess and forsake those things that displease Him. He will give you the power and the strength, as you yield unto Him. 2. Read God's Word EVERY DAY-- It is spiritual food for your soul. 3. Get into the prayer closet and pray. 4. Get into fellowship with other believers. 5. Desire a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. Fall in love with Him. Seek those things which are above. Most Christians feel farthest from God when they have lost sight of the eternal perspective. In other words, they are seeking material wealth, material things-- carnal things but we, as Christians, are called to seek those things which are above. We are to look unto Jesus- the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
