Well, we have never read any of her books. Reviewing testimonies of what others have written, it seems that people who have read her material have "grown closer" to their spouse. However, there was NO MENTION whatsoever of growing closer to the Lord Jesus. Herein is the problem...THE RED FLAG.

The new age "Christianity" today puts an emphasis on "family matters", "marriage matters", and "self help" but where is the message of the Gospel? Where is the learning of God's Holy Word? Are we not supposed to grow closer to Jesus? The new evolved "christianity" puts an emphasis on self...rather than on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Any teaching that does not POINT PEOPLE TO THE LORD should be a red flag.

The reviews of Elizabeth George are all "praise"...but the people all say the same thing..."I have grown closer to my husband and our marriage is great," etc.

There is nothing wrong with marriage helps but even christian marriage helps better place the emphasis on Jesus who should be the center of the marriage.

We have a series on the women's corner called "Living the Godly Wifestyle" and the focus of the teaching is growing closer to the Lord Jesus so that we can best help our husbands and have a Christ centered home.

Keep Jesus first and a marriage needs no other help. Christ Jesus should be the center of the Christian home.
