God bless you, my brother. We believe the Da Vinci Code is paving the road for the antichrist to take center stage. We do not believe that Dan Brown is THE antichrist, spoken of in Revelation because the Bible speaks of the antichrist being a "prince" and a "king"-- which signifies authority. The DaVinci Code is of the spirit of antichrist. The antichrist most likely will claim to be of the fictitious Merovingian bloodline, spoken of in Brown's book-- which will unite the false, unconverted church-- the whore-- to accept him as "christ" and will convince the Jews that he is of the lineage of David and thus is their "messiah". Remember that the Jewish nation has always been looking for Messiah to deliver them from their physical enemies and they discount the Lord Jesus saving them from their sins, prophesied in Psalm 22 and in Isaiah 53. Sometime in the middle of the Tribulation, the Jewish people will discover that the "man of sin" whom they thought was their messiah is their arch-enemy. That is why when the Lord Jesus Christ rescues them at the End, they shall weep so bitterly when they realize they have rejected Him for almost 2000 years. (See Zechariah 12:8-10) But before the Lord Jesus physically comes back to earth to rescue Israel, the whole world shall wonder after "the beast". The devil shall attempt to deceive everyone. We don't believe that Dan Brown could be the man to pull this off so-- to write a book about the antichrist and naming him "Daniel Brown" would be a dangerous thing to do. There are already movies out such as "Left Behind" that give the antichrist a face and a name, which is conditioning the minds of the those who have seen the film to accept the antichrist in ways that the bible does not disclose. Satan is cunning and will have the absolute best man he can find to accomplish the job of deceiving the whole world. The man of sin will appear to be as an angel of light to the world-- a true humanitarian, whose plans will be presented as "saving the world". He will not appear to be the cruel man depicted in the Tribulation films. Fictitious novels depicting TRUE prophesied future events with false characters renders confusion and will result in great delusion.
