OH YES! i know ALL about the Gameboy version and that Fake Internet rumour/marketing Ploy behind there being such a thing as Super Johnberg land 1 (Grand Theft Facialhair)- on the Gameboy. A 2D platform button basher were you threw Kitchen Untensils at Dinosaurs......IT WAS FAKE.
Truth is it never existed.
Vince Russo Published the gameboy version Super Johnberg land 2 in 94 it was crap as the it was a low resolution port of Here Comes the DDT which originally required 42 buttons to play but the gameboy was limited to just the 2 buttons so all you could do was just one version of the spear (A) and a DDT (B) and the pause button didn't work as Johnberg was unstoppable...and the game was impossible to lose as not even Pixelbeard lays down for anyone.

But in the end Vince Russo revealed jOHNBERGLAND 1 was never made it was all a big swerve to get the fans interested (sumhow) into buying Johnberg Land 2 -The Golden Beard.

The result was alot of Hate Mail. Vince Russo changed his name to Vic Venom become a wrestling magizine writer and later storyline writer in the world of wrestling.
if you read anything slightly diffrent on Wikipedia pre-mid 90s about Vince Russo. Just remember Wikipedia is not the Gospel Truth......The VIW Forum is.
