Time: 2 p.m.

Schedule of events

Saturday, January 15 — 1 p.m. — Interview for girls ages 13 to 16 competing
in Miss Teen Presidential Pathways and Miss Teen Tifton pageants

9 to 10:30 a.m. — Rehearsal for all contestants competing in
Presidential Pathways and Tifton pageants

2 p.m. — Pageant begins for all contestants

NOTE: These times are subject to change.

Who is eligible?

Any girl age 6 months to 17 who is a resident anywhere in the state of Georgia for sister Miss Presidential Pathways pageants and for sister Miss Tifton pageants the counties of Tift, Irwin, Ben Hill, Berrien, Turner, Cook, Colquitt, Worth, Coffee, Dougherty, Lowndes, Crisp,Dodge, Brooks, Atkinson, Lanier, Echols, Clinch, Wilcox, Telfair and Lee County.

Why?
The winners of the pageants serve as little sisters to Miss Presidential Pathways and Miss Tifton who compete in the Miss Georgia Pageant in June which is an official state preliminary to the Miss America Pageant. The 2005 Miss Presidential Pathways and Miss Tifton for girls age 17 to 24 will be held Saturday, January 15 in Tifton at the Tift Theatre for the Performing Arts. Winners of the baby miss, wee miss, little miss, preteen miss, Tifton's Teen Sweetheart, Presidential Pathways' Teen Sweetheart and teen miss are expected to be present on January 15 and will be introduced at the pageant.

Age categories for sister Miss Presidential Pathways and Miss Tifton:

Baby Miss: Ages 6 months to 2 years
Wear short dresses only
Wee Miss: Ages 3, 4, 5
Wear short dresses only
Little Miss: Ages 6, 7, 8
Wear short or long dresses
Preteen Miss: Ages 9, 10, 11, 12
Wear short or long dresses

All of the above age groups will compete onstage only and all except Baby
Miss will be asked a simple personality question onstage


Teen Miss: Ages 13, 14, 15, 16, 17
Wear long dresses only for evening gown competition 20%
There will be a personality question onstage
There will be a five-minute interview with the judges 50%
Talent competition: Time limit of 2 minutes 30%

Please note if you want to compete in Miss Teen Tifton or Miss Teen Presidential Pathways, you are required to compete in the talent competition.


New teen category and title added this year with NO talent category nor private judges' interview.

Tifton's Teen Sweetheart and Presidential Pathways' Teen Sweetheart

Ages 13, 14, 15, 16, 17
Wear long dresses only for evening gown competition

Poise and presence 25%
Personality question onstage 25%
Beauty 25%
Overall appearance 25%


Age Requirement
Teen Miss contestants must be 13 years of age and no more than 17 years
of age on January 15, 2005. No exceptions to the age limit. The miss
teen winner is eligible to compete at Miss Teen Georgia America. To
compete in Miss Teen Tifton or Miss Teen Presidential Pathways, you must
meet these age requirements as of January 15. You are ineligible to
compete if you are 12 years of age on January 15, 2005 but will turn 13
by June 30, 2005. A contestant must be no more than 17 years of age on
June 30, 2005.

Tifton's Teen Sweetheart and Presidential Pathways' Teen Sweetheart
winners do not compete at the state level.

Photogenic Award – (One award for each age category)

Entry Fees:

$50 for each age bracket.

Additional: $15.00 for Photogenic Contest

You can obtain a sponsor for these fees. All contestants will receive an
award for participation. Deadline for entry is Friday, December 31, 2004.

No walk-ins the day of the pageant.
