Dias could feel Zenra's sorrow, and wanted to cry for her. Out of respect, he didn't, only held Zenra close, and closed his eyes for a moment. "I wish I knew what to say. I'd like to be able to say that everything happens for a reason, but I think thats a hollow sort of consolation," Dias said softly, slowly stroking Zenra's hair.

He wished he knew what to say or do, short of using empathy, to make Zenra feel better, but he didn't. Empathy wasn't a cure-all, and using it too often was an abuse of power.

People were meant to feel the emotions they felt at times like this.
