He was delighted to see her flinch as though she expected to slam head first into the tree, and only pass through it harmlessly. Those beads had a reason after all. The other Filanon looked at one another, then all eyes were on Talen as he gained fur and a beak. He had a day and a half left to find his quarry after all. One Filanon girl giggled, and the rested just shook their heads, most returning to their trees, only two remaining behind with Talen.
