Dropping down next to a group of the Ty'frr she had to deal with the customary trillings that signaled their greeting of her. There were times when she wished they wouldn't do that....

"Please..... I'm going to be here for a bit I think.... just call me 'Shana."

The Ty'frr nodded acceptance of her name.... a nickname that only a handful of people had ever used. It felt.... right to have them use it though.

She didn't say anything, letting her eyes and ears gather one kind of information while she took information of a different sort from the Weave. It didn't take her long to find out the cause of their decline in numbers, but the how still eluded her. The why for it was obvious.... the snakepeople feared the birdpeople as a rabbit fears a hawk and had taken steps to remove the threat.

Now that she knew some of the problem's factors she could try and find a way to reverse it. There was no way Yomi would be old enough in time to save them..... and even if the Weave sped up her lifecycle again there was still no way she could repopulate an entire race by herself.... and Lashana didn't fancy having to deliver another egg....
