Two powder blue eyes barely raised to Dawnsfire. Emi blinked slowly as the words slid over her groggy mind. She didn't want to leave. She didn't want to face the world. All she wanted to do was hide, hide away and never come back. She wanted to feel whole again, and she knew something was missing, something terrible and grand. The image of those six eyes were barely a shadow on her mind, and she couldn't remember what they were from.

Silence filled the air, before resignation drew a long cord and struck hard.
