She turned to look at him, surprised at how close he had gotten to her. Golden eyes mirrored the emotion breifly.

"Things have been quiet here, nothing to really feel strongly about one way or another while you've been gone." She shifted a bit, but didn't move. "You should have told me that you were going. And you came home later than we had expected." Than I had expected. "Things are alright."
